Her spouse of 26 years is David Edgar. Desiree D. Doss(22) and Dorie Edgar Doss(17) are the children of this union. Dr. Doss is a proud 2022 graduate of Virginia University of Lynchburg where she received her Doctorate in HealthCare Administration. She is a proud Alumni of Lamar University where she obtained her Bachelors in Social Work (2010), Masters in Public Administration(2013) and her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling(2018). Dr. Doss is currently employed with Beaumont Independent School District as the Social Service Coordinator for Head Start. Dr. Doss is a member of NAACP where she serves on the executive committee, NCNW (The National Council of Negro Women) where she serves as the recording secretary, Junior League of Beaumont (JLB), Top Ladies of Distinction, INC. where she serves as the current President for the Beaumont Chapter.
